mountain dew

you’re dewing it wrong

the client wanted to promote Mountain Dew as a better alternative to coffee in the mornings. When people are tired, they lose focus, leading to silly mistakes. the ads focus around the concept “You’re Dewing It Wrong”, for example, orange juice in your cereal, salt in your coffee, shaving cream on your toothbrush. in order to “Dew your mornings right”, you should drink Mountain Dew Code Red to give you the kick you need.

knirps

the original dry fashion

knirps is a luxury umbrella company based out of Germany. in this campaign, knirps is not only presented as a quality umbrella, it is presented as a high fashion item, hence “dry fashion”. this campaign has several parts, a subway ad, a magazine print ad, a weather app which also gives a new fashion tip each day, and a guerrilla tactic. the guerrilla part of the campaign, has mannequins holding knirps umbrellas, and placing them in fountains. the umbrellas would keep the mannequins dry, and they would be left out for a few days, demonstrating durability. the mannequins would be styled fashionably to associate fashion with the umbrellas.

nest

what’s your nest like?

nest is the world’s first learning thermostat. these are a series of print ads that open up to reveal a list of words that consumers have used to describe the project. three of these descriptors are highlighted, which lead to the inside of the third page. there would be a quote from a real youtube user, with a call to action to visit the youtube channel. The youtube portion of the campaign focuses on real users demonstrating how they use the nest thermostat and their favorite benefits. the out of home portion of the campaign focuses on equipping nyc taxi cabs with the nest thermostat, and a short video describing what the nest is, and how to use it.
